ACCOMMODATIONS (for classes):
Staying at the Farm: Wild Earth offers rustic camping on the farm ($20 recommended donation, by arrangement). Camping is included during courses.

Coming Soon: Wild Earth’s Air BnB. Stay on the Sanctuary in comfort!

Rustic camping: We have a camping area set up for people to set up tents. There is one primary shelter of a very large open former tobacco barn. Setting up tents inside the barn will provide initial shelter from the elements along with the privacy and added shelter of your own tent. The spaces inside the barn are limited to first come.  We have 200 acres, so there is plenty of space to set up a tent with some privacy or to accommodate your needs. We also have a hay loft available for folks interested in bringing just a cot and mosquito net.  We have a house and schoolhouse on the farm in the event of emergency, but it will be closed to only instructors and staff due to the small size.

We have composting toilets and sun-heated outdoor showers available for your use. Please bring your own towel, biodegradable soap, and toiletries.

Transportation:  Please Note: Transportation services are available for registered participants in courses only. Travel to and from the farm are not included in course price. We will work to coordinate ride share opportunities when possible. We offer a pickup from Richmond and Lexington (airport) for a fee, which will be at 6pm on Saturday, July 15 2017 (the evening before the course starts). We will offer a drop off the morning after the course wraps up(Dropping of at the airport at 10am). Fee for each way is $35. Email us if you wish to coordinate transportation. We are located 65 miles from the Lexington Airport.

Equipment Rental: We have a limited amount of equipment available to rent for camping. Please email us if you are interested.

Car camping: If you would prefer to sleep in your car or truck, we have an area available for you to park, with limited space for larger RV-type vehicles. Contact us if this is your plan.
